Well here goes ..
I’ve kept a kinda blog thing before, but it was just a space to give away my digital scrap freebies, so I’ve never kept an actual blog where I write in it, so if anyone actually reads this, bear with me cos it will be full of random bits and bobs and probably not make much sense lolol
I created my first site a couple of years ago, it was an online adult store. After a year or so, in September 2006, I decided to go ‘family friendly’ and closed it down. I decided to open a new business selling costume jewellery, fashion & hair accessories etc and eSparkles Costume Jewellery & Accessories has been up and running 5 months now. I’ve had people asking ‘why eSparkles?, What made you choose that name?’ Its kinda hard to explain, but basically its kinda based on the eCommerce thing, as in its an online store, plus my name is Erica .. and the things I am selling are sparkling. So thats how eSparkles came about.
My next project was for my friend. She owns a candy shop in our village and wanted a website doing. Goodigumdrops went online at the end of January 2007. I photographed and listed almost 600 products in the 2 weeks it took to get it up and running, and by the end of it I never wanted to look at another sweet again - EVER !
I soon got over that tho lolol
Since I started doing websites, I have become a total PR Whore .. so what better for my next project than a Backlink Directory. Thats been open and accepting submissions for 3 days, so need something else to get my teeth into now.
Ideas on a postcard please !
